Lorem Ipsum Generator

About the Lorem Ipsum Generator

Generate Lorem Ipsum placeholder text by words, sentences or paragraphs, from 1 to 50 at a time, then copy it or download it as a text file. Placeholder text lets you judge a layout, typography or a template without distracting readers with real content.

The text is pseudo-Latin filler with no meaning, so replace it before anything is published.

How to use it

1. Choose Words, Sentences or Paragraphs.
2. Set the count from 1 to 50.
3. Press Copy Output, or Download to save a text file.

Worked example

Words mode starts from the traditional opening words.

Words, count 5

lorem ipsum dolor sit amet

Common mistakes and gotchas

• The count is limited to 50 items per run. For more text, generate again and combine the results.
• Real content is often longer or shorter than filler. Test layouts with realistic lengths too, including very long words and empty states.
• Do not ship placeholder text. It hurts search ranking and looks unfinished if it reaches production.
• Output is the same kind of text each time; it is not random prose.
